Reston/Herndon Park & Ride Lots

These four Park & Ride lots provide free parking for commuters riding buses to the West Falls Church Metro Station, the Pentagon, Crystal City and for carpoolers.

Reston East @ Wiehle Park & Ride Lot
This lot is adjacent to the north side of the Dulles Toll Road and west of Wiehle Avenue. As with all Reston/Herndon P&R lots, parking is free. 827 parking spaces are provided. Bus fare is $1.00 (with return rail transfer 35¢). Buses are boarded at the western end of the lot, but one may also board the bus at the Bus Shelter just before the bus exits the lot. More...

• Route 556 North Hills Line. Weekday rush hours via Walnut Branch Rd. & Bennington Woods Rd., Reston Town Center to West Falls Church Metro.
• Route 557 South Reston Line. Weekday rush hours via Franklin Farm Rd., South P&R, Lawyers Rd., Soapstone Drive, Reston East P&R to West Falls Church Metro.

Reston North Park & Ride Lot
This lot is located on the north side of Sunset Hills Road and is west of Wiehle Avenue in Reston. As with all Reston/Herndon P&R lots, parking is free. 320 parking spaces are provided. Buses do not serve this parking lot. Carpoolers are encouraged to use this lot. There are bicycle lockers available at this lot.

Reston South Park & Ride Lot
This lot is located at the intersection of Lawyers Road and Fox Mill Road. As with all Reston/Herndon P&R lots, parking is free. 400 parking spaces are provided. Bus fare is $1.00 (with return rail transfer 35¢). Bicycle racks are provided.

This lot is located at 12530 Sunrise Valley Drive. As with all Reston/Herndon P&R lots, parking is free. 1,745 parking spaces are provided. Fares on the Fairfax Connector buses are $1.00. The fare on the Metro 5A bus is $3.00.
